Loving Kind Morgan mini retriever mix good with kids - Golden Retriever and Collie Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Delightful, playful Morgan is the complete package! He loves attention and will bond quickly with you, and can be independent or chill out too if you are near-by. He is super sweet, loves to give kisses and be pet, praised and loved. He wants to give and receive love in equal parts. Morgan is handsome, has lovely soft fur and beautiful coloring- can you zoom in and see his adorable blue flecks in his eyes.

Morgan is 1.5-2 years old, and aims to please. This desire makes him easy to train and work with him on obedience. He was quick to learn stay, stop, we walk etc. He is naturally great on a leash. He loves to run, chase toys and go on long walks. He is neutered, and now needs to gain a few pounds. He is easy to love, care for and a great companion. I have not heard Morgan bark other than to let me know someone has arrived. He is also almost potty trained.

Morgan had a rough start, so FREEDOM is his credo now. Therefore he should not be crated at all or just minimally. Someone with a gated back yard and who wants to spoil and cuddle this boy will be the right fit. Currently he doesn't like to be left alone for long periods of time. But he is managing and understanding more it little by little. He would be an excellent family dog or for a single person who works from home.

Morgan came to us from a sad situation-- his owner got dementia and had 18 dogs. Nine of those dogs came to Freedom Street and they are all loving. They were loved while underfed for a bit they are truly sweet dogs. Morgan attaches quickly and will love you with his whole heart. (and if you want two dogs we have some of his friends too!).
