THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TEXAS. THEIR ADOPTION DONATION IS $575 AND INCLUDES TRANSPORT. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO, AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR ADOPTION AND SCREENING PROCESS.
Our process begins with an application. If we believe it may be a good match, we will reach out to schedule a phone interview, followed by a video call with the foster home. A virtual home visit, along with personal and veterinary reference checks, are required to complete the adoption process. Once approved, the dog will be placed on the next available transport, which runs every few weeks and is included in the adoption donation. If you are not able to welcome a dog until a later date, please wait to apply until that time.
We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to help these dogs find homes. If you are not serious about moving forward with the adoption process, please do not apply. If other people in your household are part of the decision, please make sure they are fully on board before submitting an application. This helps ensure we respect everyones time.

Roxie is 10 weeks old and right in the middle of that adorable puppy stage where everything is new, exciting, and worth investigating. This sweet Pit Bull mix is a happy, playful little girl who loves exploring, playing with her littermates, and soaking up attention from the people around her. Like any puppy her age, her personality is still developing, and we can't wait to see the dog she grows into.
While we don't know who her dad is, we've included a photo of her mom. Based on her size and breed mix, we expect Roxie to grow into a large dog.
Roxie is being fostered in Austin, Texas, and is available for adoption out of state. Transport can be arranged by the rescue once matched with an approved adopter and is included in the adoption donation. The adoption process includes an application, phone interview, video call with the foster home, virtual home visit, and vet and personal reference checks.
Roxie has been raised in a home with children and other dogs, and she's taken it all in stride. She's been around plenty of children and does wonderfully with them. She's also growing up surrounded by other dogs, giving her lots of opportunities to play, socialize, and learn from her canine friends. She hasn't been introduced to cats yet, so we can't say for certain how she'll do with them as she gets older.
Like any 10-week-old puppy, Roxie is just beginning to learn how the world works. She isn't potty trained, crate trained, or leash trained yet, so she'll need a family ready for all the fun and work that comes with puppyhood. Patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and continued socialization with new people, dogs, places, and experiences will be important as she grows.
Because she's still so young, Roxie will do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to help her establish routines, learn good puppy manners, and get the attention and guidance she needs. Expect plenty of playing, exploring, puppy naps, curiosity, and probably a little mischief along the way.
Bringing home a puppy is a big commitment, and we want to make sure everyone in the household is ready for the time, patience, training, and responsibility that come with raising one. Those early months take work, but getting to watch your puppy learn, grow, and become part of your family makes them pretty special too.
Roxie is a little girl with a whole lifetime ahead of her. If you're ready for puppy kisses, playtime, training, plenty of laughs, and the chance to help shape a wonderful dog from the very beginning, Roxie might be your girl.
