Hi there! My name is Dory, and if you're looking for a little ray of sunshine wrapped up in a wiggly puppy package, I think we might be meant for each other.

I'm a puppy with the sweetest smile, the softest heart, and a tail that starts wagging the moment I see someone I love. Sometimes I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but all it takes is a kind voice, a little patience, and maybe a few baby-talk compliments before my true personality comes shining through.

Once I know I'm safe, I transform into a full-time wiggle butt! I love attention, cuddles, and being close to my people. In fact, if you're willing to let me curl up next to you for some snuggles after a fun day of playing, I will consider that the perfect day.

I recently met another dog and thought making a new friend was pretty exciting! I was much more interested in playing than causing any trouble, and I think having a friendly canine sibling could be lots of fun. Someone to show me the ropes and help me continue building my confidence would be a dream come true.

Life hasn't always been easy, but every day I'm learning that people can be kind, beds can be soft, and love can be forever. I'm still just a puppy discovering how wonderful the world can be, and I'm hoping to find a family that will help me continue growing into the amazing dog I'm meant to be.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
