Brick has officially discovered the good life, and he’s pretty sure it involves comfy couches, shady spots in the yard, plenty of affection, and an absolutely ridiculous collection of stuffed animals.

This handsome boy has settled beautifully into his foster home, and we’re learning more about his sweet personality every day!

Here’s what makes Brick so lovable:
**Has a serious stuffie addiction! His favorite toys are anything that crinkles, and judging by his growing collection, he may need his own toy box.
* Loves his walks and is excellent on a leash.
* Enjoys lounging around the house and finding shady spots outside.
* Excellent in the car and ready to be your copilot!
* Potty trained and kennel trained!
* Gets along great with his foster family’s resident dog.
* Loves his people and is always looking for affection.
* Knows how to come when called!

Brick’s Ideal Home:
Brick does well with his foster family’s dog, but he’s not a fan of smaller dogs. We think he’d do best as an only dog or in a home with a compatible larger dog, with slow, proper introductions to help everyone get comfortable.

Brick is:
- Fully vaccinated, microchipped, & neutered
- Kennel & potty trained
- Dog selective, needs slow and guided introductions
- located in Houston, TX (transport available out of state!) ***PLEASE NOTE: pickup locations of transported dogs may vary, including to nearby states.***

Above all, Brick wants a family of his own. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, relaxing in the backyard, or settling in for a movie, he’s happy to be wherever his people are.
He’s already figured out how wonderful life in a home can be. Now he just needs someone to make it permanent.
And preferably someone with a generous stuffie budget. His collection isn’t going to grow itself!

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
