Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly boy who wants nothing more than love and affection. His story didn't start the way it should have......he was rescued by Sunnyside from a large hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom, left in the woods/backyard. Despite that rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit.

Babe Ruth is the definition of a gentle love bug. He adores being close to his people, whether that's curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house just to be near you. With that sweet face and gentle spirit, he radiates calmness, which rescue volunteers have found quite nice. He enjoys his toys, gets excited for treats, and has that happy, wiggly tail that never seems to stop.

He would do best in a home that can continue showing him kindness, stability, and love... someone to show how bright his future. Babe Ruth doesn't ask for much... just a soft place to land, a family to call his own, and someone to love him the way he's always deserved.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
