Zoe’s story is one of survival, resilience, and a heart that never stopped loving despite everything she endured.

This sweet girl was abandoned on the streets while pregnant, left to survive on her own while protecting her puppies from the dangers around them. With no safe place to rest and no reliable source of food or water, Zoe still managed to care for her babies the best she could. Even through hardship, fear, and uncertainty, she never lost her gentle spirit.

Now safe with Sunnyside Street Dogs, Zoe is finally getting the chance to just be a dog and her beautiful personality is shining brighter every day.

Zoe is still very young and full of playful energy. She absolutely loves being close to her people and will happily soak up every cuddle and bit of affection she can get. She has a soft, loving nature that makes everyone fall in love with her quickly.

Zoe also does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having canine companionship around her. She’s crate trained, adjusting beautifully to home life, and learning what it means to feel safe and cared for.

After spending so much of her life in survival mode, Zoe deserves a family who will show her that she never has to worry again. She’s looking for a home filled with love, patience, and stability… a place where she can continue building confidence, enjoy playtime and adventures, and curl up beside her people at the end of the day.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
