DESCRIPTION
Meet Vega
Vega has perfected the Staffy welcome. His whole face lights up, his tail gets involved, and before long you're wondering if you've actually known each other for years. Around people, he's all heart with just enough wiggle to keep everyone smiling.
At 19 months old, Vega is a 53-pound, medium-sized Staffy mix with a soft spot for stuffed toys, car rides, belly rubs, and anyone willing to hand out a treat. He has a habit of carrying his favorite stuffie around like it belongs with him, and he's never met a snack he thought should be turned down.
Vega enjoys the company of other dogs and finds cats endlessly fascinating, although he's perfectly content admiring them from a respectful distance. He's still getting the hang of life as a house dog, takes correction well, and isn't one to make a fuss over nothing. Give him a little guidance, a few treats, and plenty of love, and he's more than happy to meet you halfway.
Vega has enough love for everyone he meets—he's just waiting for someone to bring it home.If you would like to apply to adopt, fill out an application here:

ABOUT: AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER DOG BREED
The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
