Blackjack - American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Caldwell, Texas

Blackjack is a handsome black-and-white Staffordshire Terrier puppy with a heart full of love and a bright future ahead of him. Affectionately called "Jacks" by his foster family, this sweet boy is eager to learn, eager to please, and even more eager to snuggle!

Jacks has been working hard on his training and is thriving. He walks beautifully on a loose leash, is learning not to pull, and reliably sits when his handler stops walking. He also knows to sit politely before leaving his kennel and before heading out the door. Smart and attentive, Jacks loves earning praise—and if hugs and cuddles are involved, even better!

One of his favorite things is being close to his people. He would happily consider himself a lap dog and will do his best to snuggle right up beside you. Despite his playful puppy energy, he settles down surprisingly well and enjoys relaxing with his family after a day of fun.

Jacks has been exposed to a variety of new experiences, including walks in the park, horses, and cats. He is curious and alert around cats but remains under control and responds well to redirection. Sometimes he even ignores them completely. His foster believes he would enjoy continuing his training and socialization as he grows, as he has already shown how quickly he learns.

Blackjack is a wonderful combination of affectionate, intelligent, and trainable. He is looking for a family that will continue helping him build confidence, experience new adventures, and shower him with the love he craves.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to learn, love, and cuddle, Blackjack may be your perfect match. Some lucky family is going to get a truly great dog!
