Moose is a big-bodied goofball with an even bigger heart.
He loves people, sometimes so much that it can be counterproductive to his safety. He hates being in outdoor kennels as he wants to be where the people are. He will gate dash in a heartbeat to avoid being cooped up whether someone is in his way or not. He was found stray and the good Samaritan kenneled him to keep him safe while looking for his owners and discovered his dislike of being kenneled firsthand. Since coming to the rescue, he has been a joy. He greets everyone with a big smile and wagging tail. We just want to be transparent with his dislike of outdoor dog pens.
He does decent on leash and likes to explore new smells and places and would make a good walking buddy and couch snuggler. He may look senior, but he still acts like a big puppy.
