Meet LARRY! Larry is a big, sweet, handsome boy. He's gentle and friendly, but a little bit camera shy... he just doesn't understand how cute he is!

Larry is good with other dogs.

He walks nicely on a leash, but does need some work getting used to being leashed up. He panics for a bit until he realizes all is okay and it's just time to go for a walk. He'll soon learn the routine and discover that leashing up means it's time for an adventure!

Larry is a 3 year old American Bulldog and he weighs 74 lbs.

ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofKCKAS/ for more info about weekend adoption hours, events and available pets.

We are open Monday through Friday by appointment only. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
