That face says it all!!! WALLACE is a big goofy sweetheart! He's the kind of dog who just wants to hang out with his people, share the joy, and always ready to make you laugh. He'd be up for an adventure, or just chilling on the couch.

Wallace is also good with other dogs.

Wallace is 3 years old and weighs 62 pounds.

He recently tested positive for heartworms, but please don’t let that keep you from meeting this wonderful boy! The cost for his heartworm treatment is completely covered—we simply need to find him a loving home or foster home where he can relax and recover during treatment. We're happy to provide all the details about his treatment plan to anyone interested in fostering or adopting him.

Once his treatment is complete, Wallace can go on to live a completely normal, healthy life with no restrictions.

ADOPTING A DOG
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofKCKAS/ for more info about weekend adoption hours, events and available pets.

We are open Monday through Friday by appointment only. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
