About Me: Meet Queso, affectionately known as Monkey! This adorable little Manx has a personality as unique as her appearance and a special place in all our hearts at PURRR.
Queso came to us as a young kitten with special medical needs. Born with spina bifida, a condition affecting her spine, she has a distinctive little wobble when she walks and struggles with urinary and fecal incontinence. But don't let her condition fool you! Queso is a sweet, curious, affectionate girl, who gets along with other cats and somehow makes everyone feel extra special.
Queso requires some extra TLC throughout the day, including regular bladder expression, bowel management, diaper changes, and gentle cleaning to keep her comfortable and prevent irritation or infection. She's even learned to enjoy her occasional baths! Our medical team has developed a daily routine to make sure she stays happy, healthy, and comfortable.
family with the time and willingness to learn how to manage her ongoing medical needs. But behind those extra responsibilities is a wonderful little cat who deserves the same love, comfort, and sense of belonging as any other.
missing is a family willing to see beyond her special needs and love her for the incredible little Monkey she is!
