American Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Have you ever wanted a partner who gives you endless attention, loves a little too hard, and wants to be involved in everything you do? Well... you've found her!

Shela would love nothing more than to be your partner in crime. Whether it's going for walks, tagging along on adventures, or simply hanging out at home, she's happiest right by your side. She'll keep you company in the kitchen while you cook-and yes, she'll even patiently wait outside the bathroom just to make sure she doesn't miss a moment with you.

Shela is a big fan of treats and would likely enjoy some continued training-especially if snacks are involved! She has the cutest little grunty noises she makes to communicate and show her excitement. She also loves a good game of tug-of-war and happily entertains herself with her favorite chew toys.

Shela does have some skin allergies that have made her a bit flaky, but we're working on finding the best way to manage them so she can feel her very best.

Shela does not currently live with other dogs in her foster home and has shown some hesitation when meeting new dogs. She would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home. If there are other dogs in the home, separation would be needed initially, along with very slow, structured introductions.

The American Bulldog is a powerful and athletic breed known for its strong build and confident demeanor. The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the Amstaff, is a medium sized, muscular breed known for its loyalty and courage. Developed in the United States, they are intelligent and affectionate dogs, making them great family companions. With a distinctive short coat and strong build, American Staffordshire Terriers are often misunderstood due to their past as fighting dogs, but they are actually loving and playful pets when raised in a nurturing environment. They thrive on human interaction and are eager to please their owners.
