Ripley is around 4-5 years old and originally came to us as an unclaimed stray.
Ripley is FIV+ but lives with negative cats in his foster home.
Ripley loves to be up high, so cat towers and climbing up on top of the cabinets are a must!
Some more dominant cats try to bully him, but Ripley just wants to do his own thing, and he'd make a great only kitty too. He's more of an independent soul. Ripley is not a fan of dogs, so a kitty only home is best for him.
He's a great boy waiting on his forever after!
As part of our adoption process, we will check the vetting history of any past or current pets looking for regular history of annual exams and up to date vaccines and other care as recommended by the doctors. We will also check property ownership or verify landlord guidelines for a rental and complete a public records check for anyone over age 18 in the home.
Resident cats must show a history of a negative FeLV (feline leukemia test) on file while maintaining an indoor only status.
Ripley is neutered and microchipped, up to date on core vaccinations, FeLV/FIV tested.
Adoption fee: $200 cash, includes sales tax

Our volunteers do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
