Kaloo is AMAZING! He's such a people-oriented kitty - he will be a great companion.

He is estimated to be 4 years old and was found living outside with a colony of cats. Unfortunately, he did test positive for FIV, but he has been an overall healthy cat during his time in rescue so far and this is not something to be scared of in adopting this sweet boy.

Kaloo loves attention and he will be close by to nuzzle you and melt into your touch. He is good with other cats and lives with FIV negative cats at his foster home. He is not aggressive in any way. He has not been living with dogs.

As part of our adoption process, we will check the vetting history of any past or current pets looking for regular history of annual exams and up to date vaccines and other care as recommended by the doctors. We will also check property ownership or verify landlord guidelines for a rental and complete a public records check for anyone over age 18 in the home.

Resident cats must show a history of a negative FeLV (feline leukemia test) on file while maintaining an indoor only status.

Kaloo is neutered and microchipped, up to date on core vaccinations, FeLV/FIV tested.

Our volunteers do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
