Monkey (Special needs, bonded with Mellow) - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

***Monkey and brother Mellow are each others support system, play buddy and grooming partner. They must go home together.

Monkey is a beautiful tabby girl with a calm and affectionate demeanour. She bestows her affections generously upon all who cross her path, purring ceaselessly. When she is not purring, she loves to play with feather wands, laser toys, and wrestle Mellow.

Though Monkey presents herself as a creature of refined independence, do not be deceived by such noble airs. She is, in truth, a devoted shadow, padding softly in your wake and stationing herself dutifully outside the bathroom door, lest any unspeakable peril befall you within. WFH? Monkey enhances your work day with her unerring ability to lie across your desk or hold down your hand as you work. Never a dull moment when Monkey is around!

Monkey has a mild allergy and occasionally over-grooms herself, which can cause small wounds. She is currently on a low dose medication called cyclosporine, every other day, to manage her condition. But even when dealing with her medical challenges, Monkey remains a sweet cat open to attention, pets, and Churu bribes. Whats better than one curious little shadow? Two, of course!!

Monkey and Mellow have grown up together and share everything together. They are active, inquisitive and full of affection for each other and their people. They get along well with other cats once proper introductions are made, and would blend nicely into a household of patient, kind folks who enjoy their constant company.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
