She takes a little extra time to adjust to new environments, but watching her blossom into a brave, loving companion is the most rewarding experience. She is never aggressive—when she feels overwhelmed, she simply retreats to a safe, cozy spot to observe until she feels ready. A quiet, low-traffic home (or apartment) without loud noises or unpredictable commotion. Patient adopters who understand that trust takes time and are excited to celebrate her small daily victories. She would do wonderfully as a solo kitty receiving all your calm love, or in a home with another very calm, non-dominant cat who can show her the ropes. Her current foster home has grade-school age kids and multiple cats and Misty does well here too.
