Cody is our very first foster puppy, and from the moment he came into our home, he has filled it with love, light, and endless joy.When Cody was found wandering the streets of our community, he was alone and carrying injuries no puppy should ever have to endure. The severity of his wounds suggested he may have been attacked by another dog—or even used as a bait dog. While we'll never know exactly what happened to him before he was rescued, we do know one thing: Cody refused to let his past define him.

Watching him heal has been nothing short of incredible. His physical wounds have faded, but even more amazing has been seeing his heart heal. Cody has taught us that yesterday doesn't have to determine tomorrow. Every new day is an opportunity for trust, love, adventure, and happiness. He greets each morning with a wagging tail, eager kisses, and excitement for whatever comes next.

Cody is incredibly smart and loves to learn. He picks up new things quickly, listens well, and genuinely wants to make his people happy. He adores new chew toys, exploring new places, and playing with his foster brothers and sisters. He has a gentle, loving spirit and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and gerbils. Even our leopard gecko gave him a little kiss on the snout!

Like every puppy, Cody is still learning. He's working on potty training and doing well with a schedule, understanding what belongs in his mouth and what doesn't, and realizing just how strong he is. We're also continuing to help him feel comfortable in his kennel. He'll happily go inside, but he'd much rather not be alone. With patience, consistency, and love, he continues to make progress every day.

The puppy who once wandered the streets injured and alone has blossomed into a happy, affectionate, resilient little soul. Cody doesn't carry bitterness—only hope. He is ready for the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them.
