Meet Sage!
https://youtu.be/I14crtzhWMs?si=W8Yalogte550dlOZ
Sage is proof that a cat can have a huge personality. At 7 months old, this handsome boy is bursting with energy, curiosity, and endless entertainment. If there is a toy to chase, a sibling to wrestle, or a new adventure to discover, Sage is ready for it. He approaches every day like it’s the most exciting day ever, and his enthusiasm is absolutely contagious.
Sage is by far one of the goofiest young cats you’ll ever meet. He has a way of making people laugh without even trying. Whether he’s pouncing on a toy twice his size, zooming around the room, or inventing his own games, he keeps everyone smiling. His silly antics and playful spirit make every day more fun.
Sage has spent lots of time with his siblings, and it shows in how he plays: he plays hard, with plenty of chasing and wrestling. A confident cat or no other cat at all is best for this guy, since a shy or sensitive housemate could be overwhelmed by his energy. A family ready to match his enthusiasm with lots of playtime, toys, and room to zoom is recommended.
Sage is not immediately affectionate, but not many cats are! He likes to get comfortable first, and once he does, he’s happy to soak up pets and attention after he’s finished exploring and burning off some energy. A little patience goes a long way with this guy, and the bond you build with him will be well worth it.
Everything about Sage is pure joy. He’s playful, curious, funny, and completely adorable, and he’s looking for a family who will appreciate his big personality and give him plenty of opportunities to play, learn, and grow.
Life is never boring with Sage around, and his future family is going to be incredibly lucky to call him their own.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
