Sam is a sweet, gentle kitten with a playful personality that comes out more and more as she gets comfortable. She may take a little time to observe new people and surroundings at first, but once she realizes she is safe, you get to watch this adorable little kitten completely come out of her shell.
Look how amazing she is:

And when she does, Sam is so much fun.
She loves to play, chase toys, bounce around with the other kittens, and investigate whatever catches her attention. She has plenty of goofy kitten energy and that adorable kitten clumsiness that makes playtime even more entertaining. Once she gets going, she can be right in the middle of the action, running around and having the best time.
But Sam isn’t all play. She has a wonderfully affectionate side too. Once she feels comfortable with you, she enjoys pets and scratches and happily leans into the attention. She has a gentle sweetness about her that makes those moments when she chooses to come closer feel extra special.
Sam would be a wonderful match for someone who understands that some kittens just need a little time to figure out that everything is okay. Give her the chance to settle in at her own pace, and you will be rewarded with a curious, playful, affectionate little companion.
Like any kitten, Sam will need plenty of playtime and enrichment as she grows. Toys to chase, things to climb, cozy places to nap, and people who are ready to give her love will make her one happy girl.
Sam may not be the kitten who immediately demands everyone’s attention, but give her a little time and she will show you exactly how much personality she has been hiding. Watching her go from quietly taking everything in to happily playing, exploring, and soaking up affection is part of what makes this sweet girl so special.
Sam is ready for a home where she can keep building her confidence, having fun, and discovering just how good it feels to have people of her very own.

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.
We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
