Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

***Anissa is a lucky cat who crossed paths with one of AVA’s awesome fosters. She is an energetic and frisky cat and will need a social play buddy or two in her forever home.

Anissa is the definition of a true companion. She is inquisitive and confident, a cute little shadow that no one can resist! Human interactions, especially if it involves letting her cuddle up with you, are always welcome in Anissa’s everyday. She loves a good lap, showers of kisses, lots of cuddles, and doesn’t mind being brushed at all. She will follow you everywhere simply because she wants to be close to you.

Anissa is very vocal and present, and does not like closed doors. She enjoys playing with other cats, but is still learning how to respect their boundaries. From the unknown amount of time she spent outside, it is clear that she does not like outside critters and will think she is defending her home from them through the porch windows. She is fierce in her loyalty and devotion, and it’s adorable!

Anissa is still figuring out what wet foods she enjoys most, but this little gourmand is onboard with taste-testing all kinds, and treats (especially Churu) of course, are always welcome!

Anissa would benefit from a younger friend who can keep up with her kitten-like energy of playing and running around. This sweetheart is ready to charm her forever family now!

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
