🐾SPECIFICS
Purebred Persian, shaded silver, green eyes, 2 years-old, spayed female, 3 1/2 lbs(yes that's correct), with claws.

Cat friendly: yes, with a cat that has a complimentary personality or adopt one of the Persian friends that came with her.

Dog friendly: probably with appropriate introductions to a dog that would ignore

Kid friendly: 8 yrs+, cat savvy and respectful

🐾GETTING TO KNOW ME
Cookie has a personality that's larger than life! She looks like an anime character and acts like a tiny princess. She is currently growing-out her aerodynamic lion-cut. Her coat is a lovely silver and white and set-off by intense green eyes. She is a Persian, so eye and coat care is mandatory. Cookie is a hardcore extrovert, and will seek out human affection, but the tiny princess WILL protest if you hold her for too long. She responds to her name in the silliest way by having her tail straight up in the air and wagging it fast. WAND TOYS are a serious passion.

🐾IDEAL HOME
Cookie needs a home that is stable, interactive, respectful, and cautious of her size. This girl is teeny tiny. Being carried around a lot isn't her favorite thing just yet, and at this point prefers to rest on laps while on her back or sit next to you. Cookie would thrive with an attentive family who's home regularly and willing to indulge her daily playtime activities. She would be fine with a complementary feline companion but would be okay as a single too(if you'd like a pair, she has her roomie Persian sisters). A respectful dog and kid over 8yrs would be fine too. Like all cats, her wish list includes cat trees near windows for bird-watching and cozy spots to lounge with her favorite humans. She is obsessed with human attention once comfortable. And like it or not, this girl LOVES her name, Say it with me, COOKIE! She'd likely be great in a backpack, stroller or mini harness with a leash. You'll always need to keep her safety in mind with her very small size. 

She's a pretty darn easy cat but with any new animal, starting off in a safe space with plenty of time to acclimate is critical. She really loves her breakfast and dinner, which consists of canned 4Health pate, and currently loves the fresh and clean water from her ceramic water fountain. Cookie is perfect with her open-top, litter box. 

🐾CARE REQUIREMENTS
*Feeding: 4Health pate or similar with transition.
*Litter: Open-style box with unscented clumping litter (one box per cat, plus one extra) currently using Worlds Best(she has used this litter her entire life so we wouldn't recommend a heavy clay litter).
*Grooming: Daily eye maintenance with Eye Envy and combing once a week with a monthly nail trim.

🐾TRANSITION TIPS
Cookie needs a patient family who understands that settling in takes time. Cookie will absolutely need to start out in a "base camp" room in her new home, while she becomes familiar and comfortable with her new people and another pets, and she will let you know when she’s ready to explore more of the home. Please research bringing home a new cat & proper cat introduction. YouTube has many great Jackson Galaxy videos to help with introductions.

🐾VETTING PROVIDED
Exam, spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, Nares surgery and is microchipped. Medical Records are supplied at adoption completion.

🐾LOCATION AND ADOPTION
Fostered in Valparaiso, Indiana (45 min from Chicago and SW Michigan, 2 hours from Wisconsin).

Adoption fee is $500.00
