BENJI - Persian Cat for Adoption in Kenosha, Wisconsin

BENJI is a 5 year old male WHITE AND BLACK PERSIAN. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Benji came from a shelter and was originally found in a cage in a basement along with the other kitties in the home. He was very matted when he came in and the vet was able to get him trimmed up for us so he is feeling his best self.

He is a very sweet boy that enjoys being pet. He enjoys being around people, but is also independent and is not too needy. He does like to play with wand toys when you want to play, but is not pushy.

Wet food is his favorite, but is offered both dry and wet. Benji is a typical Persian who needs his face wiped daily due to his flat face. He does tend to get dirty after eating too, but does great for daily face washings and actually enjoys getting this done. He has also been bathed multiple times and does very well overall with this.

With proper introductions, Benji would be ok with another cat. Although he would be very happy as an only cat too. He was introduced to one of the resident dogs that is older and calm. He was reserved, but curious, so would likely do fine with an older dog who would ignore him. Young children would be too stressful for him, and we would like him to go to a home with kids 12+.
