BODHI - Ragdoll Cat for Adoption in Kenosha, Wisconsin

BODHI is a lovely SEAL POINT RAGDOLL with blue eyes. He is 3 years old, neutered, has his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped. He weighs a little over 11 lbs.

Bodhi came into our rescue because his owner’s son became allergic to cats.

When Bodhi first came into foster care, he needed a little time to decompress and feel comfortable. Some Ragdolls are actually quite sensitive to changes, so we need to allow them some extra time and space to come out of their shell. Now that Bodhi feels safe, he comes over to his foster mom for some pets and typically hangs out close by while she is around. During Yoga, he likes to supervise his foster mom to make sure that she does her poses correctly ;-)

When he is really happy, he does the famous Ragdoll flip and invites his foster mom to bestow some loving pets. While Bodhi isn’t exactly a play monster, he has some moments where he bats some felt balls around and he seems to be especially enamored with his Yeowww Catnip Banana. During the day, Bodhi will often sit on a window ledge and observe what is going on outside, and he also likes to hang out in his kitty bed. He is really a non-intrusive, sweet, and quiet little gentleman.

Bodhi has lived with another Ragdoll before but was not bonded or really interested in interacting with this kitty. Therefore, he would probably do better as a single cat where he can soak up the undivided love and attention from his human(s). Per his original owner, he has a fondness for men, so a household that includes a cat loving dad would be great for him. He lived with a dog before, and he also lived with a child. Because he is a bit on the timid/shy side initially, older, cat savvy children would be better.

Bodhi eats both wet and dry food. He is using his litter box perfectly.
