When her owner had to rehome their three cats, placements were found for the other two, including the cat Miso was deeply bonded to. But sweet Miso was the one left behind.

Every single day, she sits alone in an empty house, waiting for footsteps at the door. Her previous owner goes back daily to feed her and give her whatever time and affection they can spare, but the front door always closes again, leaving Miso by herself in the silence and dark.

For a girl like Miso, this isolation is devastating. She is a naturally sweet, talkative soul who lives for affection. She chirps, chatters, and leans into every hand that touches her, desperately soaking up human connection before it’s gone again. She is gentle, incredibly loving, and misses the comfort of having family and kitty companions around her.

Miso is a 5 years old polydactyl kitty, fully cat-friendly, up to date on her vaccines, and combo tested negative. She doesn't understand why the home she knew is empty, or why she was the one who had to stay behind.
