Hoagie - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

Hoagie might be quiet, but he's happy to serve as your stalwart companion! Hoagie was a loyal barn cat for at least 14 years before his retirement due to the passing of his owner. Hoagie is incredibly food motivated, so you should watch your countertops and other food around him. Even with one eye, he'll be scoping pi all the best spots to watch over you! We do recommend Hoagie stays on soaked dry food or wet food long-term due to his complete and total lack of all teeth (but three).

Hoagie lived with a group of other cats and was fine to continue to live with them in the shelter; we haven't introduced him to any new cat since coming in. We have a hard time imagining him as a tough to get along with fellow, though! He's easygoing like that. We don't know how Hoagie would handle dogs or small children, but we recommend anyone considering this sweetheart senior give him a try! Hoagie is looking for a family to accompany him through a wonderful final chapter to a life well-lived.
