Blue Moon - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

With a tiny bunny-like tail, Blue Moon was a stray kitten who found herself on the wrong side of a car engine and came in for medical treatment. Unfortunately, her tail took a lot of damage and had to be amputated, leaving her bobbed. She is working hard on her continued recovery and has been improving every day. Blue Moon is a reserved kitten who is still working on coming out of her shell with staff, though she likes to play with toys and get scratches behind the ear. We think she'll blossom even more in a stable home environment!

Due to her backstory, we don't know how Blue Moon feels about living with dogs, cats, or young children. She was in a colony with her mother and siblings at birth but hasn't been able to be around others while recovering. Blue Moon may prefer a quieter home with humans who handle her gently after her accident, but kittens are adaptable and we would encourage anyone interested to meet her and see if she's a fit as she grows in her confidence!
