DESCRIPTION
I'm the kind of dog who enjoys the simple things in life: a good walk, a place to explore, a toy to carry around, and a comfy spot to relax with my favorite people. I recently went on a Dogs' Day Out and showed everyone what a great companion I can be, calmly walking past strangers, other dogs, and even small animals with very little concern. I love taking in the world through my nose, but after a little adventure, I'm perfectly happy settling in for some quiet time.
Meeting new people can still feel a little overwhelming for me, so I like to take introductions at my own pace. The staff and volunteers here have given me time, patience, and plenty of treats, and every day I grow a little more confident. Once I know you're part of my circle, my goofy, loving personality really shines through.
Because trust takes a little time, I'm looking for a family that understands there's no need to rush. I'll likely need multiple meets before I'm ready to head home, but I promise it's worth the wait. If you're willing to let me move at my own pace, you'll discover a loyal, sweet companion who's ready to join you on all of life's adventures.
