Meet Mr. Bigfoot!

Some cats have tiny, dainty paws. Mr. Bigfoot decided that was boring.

This handsome one-year-old earned his legendary name thanks to a foot that's a little larger than life. While he may look like he's been leaving mysterious footprints in the forest, the truth is that Mr. Bigfoot has a rare medical condition called lymphangiomatosis that causes swelling in his foot and belly.

Now for the important part: Mr. Bigfoot is an absolute sweetheart.

He's affectionate, gentle, and loves spending time with people. He doesn't spend his days worrying about diagnoses or medical terminology-he spends them being a cat, soaking up attention, finding comfy spots to nap, and charming everyone he meets.

Because his disease is extremely rare in cats and currently has no definitive cure, Mr. Bigfoot is seeking a palliative care adopter (ie. someone who is committed to keeping him happy and comfortable, while also accepting that the trajectory of his disease and his life is unknown). While we don't know exactly what the future holds for him, we do know that he deserves a home filled with love, comfort, and kindness. Occasionally, he may leak clear lymph fluid from his foot, which is part of his condition, but he takes it all in stride. Ba dum tss.

Mr. Bigfoot may not be the easiest adoption choice. He won't come with guarantees or a predictable timeline. What he will come with is a huge heart, a sweet personality, and the chance to give a very special cat the loving home every cat deserves.
