DESCRIPTION
Indigo is a 5 years old male Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix who weighs 5 pounds.
Meet Indigo. He is a tiny Chihuahua with a very big sense of adventure and an impressive resume in escape artistry. Collars? Harnesses? Indigo has treated them all like optional accessories. If there's a gap, wiggle room, or questionable latch, he's already thinking about it.
This little Houdini is looking for a home that understands his talent for slipping away and can keep him safe while still giving him what he craves most: walks, exploring, and plenty of cozy snuggle time after his adventures. Indigo is happiest when he's close to his people and by "close," we mean likely underfoot or in your lap. His future family should be ready for a constant tiny shadow.
Because of his flight-risk tendencies, Indigo is looking for a home without kids and with folks committed to careful management. He may be able to live peacefully with other dogs or cats, but all future housemates will need to meet him first.
If you are interested in adopting Indigo, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday during our walk in hours of 12-4pm
