Allyson, Alexa, and Ray are three siblings who came to us as teeny tiny kittens. We met them, and so many others, at Chicago Animal Care and Control in late May, at the height of "kitten season." These three feisty survivors may have been in need of some full meals and TLC, but their hard-luck beginning did not dampen their spirits!
Thanks to a foster home, these kittens more than survived-- they thrived! We also know a lot about them thanks to their foster family. These kittens lived in a home with other cats, a large dog, and a small child.
Allyson is and always has been the the most outgoing of the trio. She has never met a human whose lap she is not ready to claim. Allyson is very affectionate and loving. She is also super-playful, and will do the most amazing acrobatics to try to catch the toy at the end of the wand! Her aerial feats had her foster mom's son laughing every day. She is a hoot!
Alexa is the resident sweetheart. Whereas Allyson is ready to party, Alexa is a bit more demure. She is not a shy kitten by any means, but she is not the boldest. Alexa is very social, and such a love. Touch is her love language; she loves to be pet and will solicit affection in her calm and sweet way, by simply curling up in your lap and purring up a storm.
There is always a shy one! And that is Ray. Oh but it is such a special feeling when the shy ones start to love you. You feel like the most special human on earth! Ray is more wary, and may hide from smaller children or basically anything that seems chaotic. He likes peace and quiet! But he also has a silly and fun side that he saves for his chosen people. Ray has the permanently concerned look of a much older cat who has seem some things, so it is quite funny, and jarring, when he gets into full-on kitten mode! Like his sister Allyson, the surest way to get him in on the action is to break out the wand toy. He loves to try to catch it in the air and chase it. While he may not come up and solicit pets, if you pick him up and start petting him you can feel his whole body relax and the purrs taking over.
You cannot go wrong with any of these amazing kittens. They are litter-box trained, happy, spunky, and unique personalities that are sure to make someone very happy for many years to come.
Allyson is up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations.
She has not been SPAYED yet but it is important to us that all of our animals are fixed and so we ask that you put down a $100 refundable deposit while we schedule a time for their surgery. We will schedule, transport, and ensure surgery and then refund you your deposit once completed.
Allyson is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet them! No appointment necessary.
