Woody is an approximately 2-year-old boy who was trapped as an older kitten and has spent a lot of time learning to trust people. While he's made wonderful progress, he's still looking for a patient adopter who understands that confidence doesn't happen overnight.

Woody is a complete goofball with a playful, teenage-boy personality. Toys are one of his favorite things in the world, and he can often be found zooming around, chasing anything that moves, and occasionally running into objects because he's having a little too much fun. Fortunately, embarrassment is not one of Woody's problems.

When he's relaxing in his crate, Woody loves attention and enjoys spending time with people. Once he's out exploring, however, he's still a bit of a nervous guy. He can spook easily, though more often than not, he seems to scare himself. The good news is that he almost always comes right back once he realizes there was never any danger to begin with.

Woody is looking for a quiet, patient home with no young children. He will need to start out in a crate or small room while he adjusts to a new environment and builds confidence. Most importantly, Woody must have a friendly, outgoing feline companion in his adoptive home. He relies heavily on confident cats to show him that people are safe, and having a social role model will be critical to his continued progress.

As a bonus feature, Woody has developed a fondness for chewing on fabric toys and blankets. His future family should keep this in mind when selecting toys and bedding, as he occasionally confuses soft fabrics for snacks.

For someone willing to give him time and understanding, Woody is a sweet, funny boy who is absolutely worth the wait.
