Buzz is an approximately 2-year-old boy who was trapped as an older kitten and has spent much of his life learning that people can be trusted. He has come a long way, but he's still searching for a special home that will continue helping him build confidence at his own pace.
Buzz is equal parts sweet, curious, and wonderfully ridiculous. He loves toys, loves adventures, and approaches life with the enthusiasm of a cat who has never once considered the consequences of his actions. Whether he's chasing a toy, wrestling with his brother, or accidentally launching himself into furniture, Buzz is always entertaining.
In the safety of his crate, Buzz enjoys attention and happily interacts with people. When he's out and about, he can still be difficult to get hands on as he continues working through his nervousness. Like many former feral kittens, he startles easily, although most of the time the thing that frightened him appears to be... Buzz.
Buzz is looking for a quiet home with no young children and adopters who understand that socialization takes time. He will need to begin life in his new home in a crate or small room while he settles in. Buzz also must have a friendly, outgoing cat in the home to help guide him and continue teaching him that humans are friends.
As a bonus feature, Buzz has developed a fondness for chewing on fabric toys and blankets. His future family should keep this in mind when selecting toys and bedding, as he occasionally confuses soft fabrics for snacks.
Buzz may not be the cat who immediately jumps into your lap, but he is a lovable, goofy boy whose progress has been remarkable. With patience, consistency, and a feline friend to show him the way, Buzz's future is bright.
Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home.
