Ready to let a little sunshine in? Welp, Sunny might be the right guy for you! Sunny came to us as a bottle baby - found as a newborn in a Good Samaritan's backyard (bottle baby picture included above). He has been in the care of our amazing neonatal foster since he was brought into our rescue, and is the lively and sweet little guy that deserves a happy forever home!
Sunny is completely litterbox trained, and is a relatively clean little guy. He is weened off of the baby-bottle, and eats a combo of wet and dry kitten food. He is ultra playful and will enjoy that quality playtime with his humans. He's very active and plays with all the cat toys his foster has introduced.. tunnel, cave, balls, springs, and crinkle balls! Sunny is also very outgoing and inquisitive, so when new people come over to meet him he will run right to them to introduce himself and will engage his new friend in play (as the writer of profiles, I can attest to this - he immediately ran about for playtime with me when I visited him at his foster). He also will crash hard for cuddles after playtime [insert ALL the *purrs* here].
Sunny is UTD on current vaccinations, but due to his age he is not yet neutered. The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the neuter appt! Our local vet participates, and you may just find yours does too!
Sunny has a congenital problem in his left eye leaving him permanently visually impaired in that eye. According to the doctor - there is no medicine, surgery or treatment required. Nothing will make it better, and it won't get worse. His right eye is normal and he can see.
