Meet Tina! Eight years young and already a pro at stealing hearts. This girl walked right out of her carrier and made herself at home without missing a beat. No shyness, no fuss, just a friendly little lady who knows what she likes! Tina is a sweet, affectionate lap cat who is always happy to stop for pets. She'll happily curl up on your lap on the couch and snooze away. She's also independent and perfectly content to nap or do her own thing when you're busy. But mention playtime or cuddles, and she's right there! Speaking of things Tina loves, wet food is at the very top of her list. She gets so excited when it's feeding time that she comes running to her spot, making the cutest little squeaks along the way. Treats and churros are big hits! When she's not busy eating or napping, Tina has quite the playful side. Spring toys, pom-pom balls, lasers and wand toys are all favourites. Give her a pom-pom ball, and she'll chase it around the house like she's playing football. When it's time to recharge, she'll usually pick the highest spot on the cat tree or tuck herself into a warm, enclosed bed. Tina has the cutest little silent meow: her mouth opens and moves as if she's having a full conversation with you, but sometimes no sounds come out. When it does, it’s the cutest squeaky meow, and now and then you might hear her sweet little snores while she sleeps. Reach down to pet her and her bum shoots straight up in the air, especially when you give her the butt pets she loves so much. She also makes the sweetest biscuits on soft blankets and has a signature move when she's looking for attention: flopping down with her front paws curled up! Tina is not a fan of other cats and MUST be the only cat in her home.
Tina came into our care as a stray through Animal Services. She arrived with a mammary tumour that required surgery. Thankfully, the tumour was successfully removed, and she moved on to her foster home to recover.
Tina has plenty of love and personality to bring to her new home. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who enjoys lap time as much as her independence, Tina could be your girl!
As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
