Looking for a friendly, head-butting, purring machine who wants to be near her people and feel safe? Then you must meet Shar! At only one year old, she’s got so much love to give and is well on her way to becoming a proper lap cat! Shar loves attention and will happily nudge you for pets. She’s starting to crawl onto laps on her own, and sometimes a little pat is all the invitation she needs to hop right up! She’s comfortable being picked up and will lie on your chest and sleep while you’re lying down or sleeping. Shar absolutely loves to knead on you to show her affection. When she’s not busy keeping you company, you’ll likely find her curled up in her favourite wool cat cave. She enjoys both wet and dry food, and she’s starting to show interest in catnip toys as she figures out her playful side. One of Shar’s cutest features is her very unique meow, which sometimes sounds just like a baby. It’s pretty hard not to fall for her! Although she is making progress and may be ok with a very slow introduction, Shar will be fine in a home where she can be the only cat, with people who will give her the love, patience, and security she deserves, will be best for her.

Shar was found outside as a stray and was not microchipped. As such, we don’t know much about her past. We do know she is ready for her forever home at last, where she never has to live outside again!

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority.
