Looking for a gorgeous, medium-haired girl who comes complete with extra toes? Then you must meet Maud! One-year-old Maud is a chatty, affectionate sweetheart who loves a good headbutt, a lap to curl up on, and any type of treat. Maud is very friendly with people! She loves being petted, will headbutt you for attention, and sometimes settles in for a lap visit. She’s also comfortable being picked up and even tolerates baths! She’s a bit of a chatterbox, too, and isn’t shy about meowing to let you know she has something to say. She’s still settling in and likes to have a few cozy hiding spots where she can feel safe. Under the bed, behind the couch, or tucked away in a closet are some of her favourite places to hang out when she’s not spending time with her people. Once she’s comfortable, she enjoys lounging on the couch or bed. Maud is very food-motivated, happily eating both wet and dry food, and she absolutely LOVES Catit tube treats. If you want to win her heart, those tasty little tubes are a pretty good place to start! One special thing about Maud? She’s polydactyl, meaning she has extra toes! Those adorable extra toes make her extra cute and special, but they also mean she’ll need regular nail checks and a little extra care when it’s time to trim her claws. Maud is still figuring out life around other cats. She’s slowly becoming more comfortable around them, but for now, she would likely be happiest as the only cat in her home, where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy having her people all to herself.

Maud was found outside as a stray and was not microchipped. As such, we don’t know much about her past. We do know she is ready for her forever home at last, where she never has to live outside again!

If you’re looking for a friendly, chatty companion with extra toes, a love of lap time, and a whole lot of affection to give, Maud might be your perfect match.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
