*Come meet Nacho and his buddy Queso up at PetSmart in Clay during store business hours!
Nacho is a big boy, approximately 2 years old, and he was rescued off of a dangerous and busy street in the city. He was very sick when he was rescued, and after a lot of medical treatment, he made a full recovery and he's living his best life now! No more wandering the streets looking for help for this boy!
He is just the sweetest thing ever! I've included a video of his magical biscuit making skills, this boy is a serious snuggler!! He is talkative and will let you know that he wants attention lol!
Nacho does have FIV. He is negative for FELV. FIV can only be transmitted through a deep bite wound or mating, neither of which he does. One of the pictures I've attached is nacho touching noses with one of my own cats. All of my cats are FIV negative, but you can see that he cohabitates just fine with regular cats.
Because he lived for so long with an upper respiratory infection that had not been treated, he does have some tear staining from his eyes. I just his face a little wipe with a wet cloth in the mornings. It could just be temporary drainage as he continues to get better over time. His eyes are perfect and he has been cleared by the vet for adoption!
Nacho has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, litter trained, tested FIV positive/FELV negative, and he is microchipped.
Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption-application (say you saw the cat on Petfinder)
Your donation of $120 will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, microchipping, deworming, and flea and ear mite treatments.
Adoption includes a free lifetime microchip registration!
