Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Syracuse, New York

Clarence is a sweet approximately 2–3 year-old male. He was rescued as a stray in a neighborhood, living in a hole in a crawlspace under a house. He is a sweet and playful boy, and he's ready for indoor life!

When he was living on the streets, he got picked on by other kitties and is FIV+ (but FELV-) This is not a death sentence, it only means that his immune system just needs a little boost if he gets a cold. FIV is not contagious to other cats unless he were to bite them very hard, which does not appear to be in his nature.

Clarence was cat tested with the other kitties in the foster room, and he was not a fan lol! He did not display any forms of aggression, but he did hiss and swat without claws, and ran away from them back up into his crate. I think he would either be great as an only cat, or if you had another FIV positive cat at home and are looking for a playmate that can safely roughhouse.

Clarence has been neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, litter trained, microchipped. and tested positive FIV, negative for FELV.
