Rue was surrendered to the shelter on June 30, 2026, through no fault of her own. At just 12 months old and 7 pounds, she's still a young cat with her whole life ahead of her.

Rue is the definition of calm and collected. She takes life's changes in stride and has a quiet, gentle presence that's comforting to be around. Whether she's watching the world from a cozy perch or relaxing nearby while you go about your day, Rue is content simply being part of the moment.

She gets along well with other cats, is litterbox trained, will be microchipped before adoption, and is up to date on her core vaccinations.

Rue has not yet been spayed, so geographical adoption restrictions apply until her surgery is completed.

We welcome walk-in adoptions. Please note that adoptions conclude 30 minutes before closing.
