Meet Biscuit!
Some cats ask for attention.
Others quietly wait, hoping someone will notice them.
Biscuit is the second kind.
At about 1 year old and weighing just 7 pounds, Biscuit is a beautiful young Domestic Shorthair who came to the shelter as an owner surrender while caring for her kittens. She did a wonderful job raising her babies, and now that they're grown, it's finally her turn to find a family of her own.
Today, Biscuit shares the cat apartments with other feline friends and gets along well with the other cats. She's litterbox trained and enjoys having a quiet place where she can watch everything going on around her. She may not be the first cat to run up and demand attention, but if you take a moment to visit with her, you'll quickly see what a sweet girl she is.
Biscuit has received the veterinary care she needed and has recovered beautifully. Her tiny, crinkled ears are a reminder of her past, but they also make her one of a kind.
She would do well in a home where she can settle in at her own pace and enjoy a comfortable, predictable routine. Whether she's watching birds from a window, relaxing in a cozy bed, or spending time with her people, Biscuit is ready to leave shelter life behind.
After raising her kittens, this young mom is ready for a fresh start.
Could Biscuit be the newest member of your family?
