Meet Sweetpea!

Prince and Sweetpea are equal parts playful, mischievous and cuddly. Once they've used up their energy playing, they will be eager to settle in with their people for a nap. They would enjoy getting adopted together, or each them should be adopted into a home with another young, playful cat to become a new best friend. To continue their path toward becoming well adjusted adult cats with healthy habits, please plan on having time and energy to provide a kitten with a lot of opportunities for human playtime and appropriate toys (never fingers or toes!), enriching activities, respectful handling and social interactions.

In addition to lots of excess energy to expend during play, kittens also have a lot of social needs, so they will do best joining a family as a playmate for your current young and playful cat, or being adopted together. Prince is more curious and will be more comfortable exploring once getting the lay of the land. Prince is a big snuggler, and loves to be held, pet and carried. He is also a very eager payer, and will definitely be happiest in a home with a cat who is a tolerant and willing partner in his playful antics. Sweetpea will tend to hang back and watch her brother take the lead, but will venture out soon after. Sweetpea is sweet, funny and playful. She is also a bit mischievous in her own way (look out at your doorways and for her hogging all the food!). She doesn't have quite as much patience for being carried around, as she's prefer to get on with the business at hand - playing! She will love to be in a home with a social, confident cat who she can look up to and who will also enjoy being a willing partner in play.

Cats: Prince and Sweetpea are each looking for a playful and patient young cat that will happily accept their youthful, playful behaviors.
Dogs: Prince and Sweetpea have had minimal, brief experience with dogs and both were fearful. Gradual introductions to respectful dogs will be essential to increase the chances of a successful match and positive relationship.
Children: Prince and Sweetpea have had brief interactions with children, and may do well with children in an adoptive home. Patience and respect with handling and interactions will be essential to help a cat adjust to having new human family members.
