Hello, my name is Ilya! I am an approximately 1-year-old male Russian Blue/Domestic short hair mix who is looking forward to finding a loving forever home. My presumed brother and I were found abandoned outside the Rockwall Adoption Center on 07/06/26. We were not wearing collars and did not have microchips, and unfortunately, no owner has come forward for us. Right now, I am taking some time to rest, recover, and prepare for my next chapter. I will be available for adoption beginning 07/09/26 with an approved online adoption application. However, I am required to return to Rockwall Adoptions on Wednesday, 07/15/26, for my neuter surgery and rabies vaccination. This appointment is mandatory and cannot be rescheduled. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
