Muñeca is a 1-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing approximately 53 lbs who is ready for a fresh start with a patient, committed family. She was found as a stray and is still building confidence, but she continues to grow more social and comfortable each day. Muñeca is sweet-natured, good with children, and gets along well with other dogs. She may benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home, and a meet and greet is recommended for households with other dogs. Muñeca would not be a good match for a home with cats or other small animals. She is very smart and has already made great progress with leash walking. With consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, she has all the potential to become a confident, well-mannered companion. Muñeca is spayed, microchipped, current on rabies and core vaccinations, and has tested heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is fully sponsored. Muñeca is a Diamond Dog as of 04/28/26 after 90 days in care, and her reduced adoption fee is $75. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
