In Norse mythology, Freya is a noble, graceful goddess, so purr-haps that name suits me. I am a dilute tortoiseshell girl with a cute little stub tail who will be 2 years old in August. After I was found in Dexter, my rescuers took me to a vet to be vaccinated and spayed; then they brought me here to find a home. If you've heard of tortitude and do not believe it is real, you might change your mind after you meet me. I do like royal treatment, and I am rather choosy about my companions. I do not care for other cats or dogs. I tend to avoid small children, so I would do best in a home with older kids or maybe only adults. Also, my finders said that I seem to prefer women. Actually, I am very sweet, friendly, and talkative once I get to know someone, as volunteers and staff at the shelter have discovered. I love being petted. You should feel honored if I choose you!
