I am only about a year old and was a stray who had become shut in a warehouse. My rescuer said that I am a quiet girl who likes listening to music and to people's voices. Although I was scared when I arrived at the shelter, I would come to the front of my kennel and allow petting and stroking with the stick part of a wand toy. I will need some time to settle in, but maybe if people take time to speak to me and maybe play some pretty music for me, I will feel safe and calm. That will help bring out the light I have inside me, for I am Ellie, a bright, shining, beautiful girl.
