My name, Fiona, originates from a Gaelic word for "white," - maybe someone knew that, because I do have white in my pretty calico coat. Or maybe they just love the name! I'm a 4-year-old girl who made a long trip to Rochester to come to Paws and Claws from another rescue. I am one of six cats from the rescue partner who is a newcomer here. I was tired and nervous after my journey, but when I feel comfortable with someone, I warm up and love to be petted. I have become more curious and like checking out new places. Don't be surprised if I am hesitant or wary when I first get to my new home; its a natural response! But I'm resilient, and before long, Ill be my sweet, friendly, inquisitive self. If you're looking for a fabulous furry friend, Fiona cant be beat.
