What kind of monster throws little kittens and their mamas into a cold river? "Jinkies!" I'm Velma, a 3-month-old, all-black kitten, named after a character from the Scooby-Doo show. Velma in the cartoons would have loved that mystery, but for us kitties, it was very frightening. Luckily, a human guardian angel saw it happen and called the authorities. We were rescued, and a woman from Paws and Claws came with her family to take us to a foster home. Now most of us are ready for our forever homes. I'm a friendly, playful girl who likes being held and petted. I'll purr up a storm and knead the entire time. I also love stretching out to lounge and snooze on top of the cat tower in my room at the shelter. I'm a smart, social kitten who'd love to be your lovable, vibrant Velma!
