Yuki & Mavis — Two Special Kittens with Two Unique Tails to Tell

Sometimes the most unexpected journeys lead us exactly where we are meant to be—and for Yuki and Mavis, that journey led them to each other.

Yuki’s story began behind a shed, where dogs alerted everyone that something was hiding nearby. When rescuers found her, she was nothing but skin and bones. Her tiny toe beans were burned and sore, telling the story of just how far this little girl may have traveled before finally finding safety.

Her recovery didn’t happen overnight. It took time, patience, good food, and lots of love to put some weight back on those tiny bones. Slowly, the fragile kitten we first met began to look healthy and lively again—and as Yuki grew stronger, her personality began to shine.

Yuki is a thoughtful little soul. She is reserved and likes to carefully calculate her next move before making her advance. She prefers to observe the world around her first, making sure everything is just right before joining in.

And then, along came Mavis.

Somewhere along their journeys, these two special girls found one another—and something simply clicked. With Mavis by her side, Yuki began to blossom. Together, they have flourished, finding confidence, comfort, companionship, and plenty of kitten adventures in each other.

Where one goes, the other is never far behind. They play, explore, learn, and grow together, proving that sometimes the best part of being rescued is finding a best friend along the way.

Yuki traveled a long road to find safety, but perhaps her journey was also leading her to Mavis. Mavis had a bit of a rough start as well she was thrown from a car on to road, and lost the tip end of her nose. This did not stop her she was a fighter, but her soul was also a little more on the reserved side just like sweet yuki's.

Now these two girls are ready for their greatest adventure yet: finding a forever family where they can continue writing their story—together. These 2 are bonded and would need to be adopted together.
