Goldie *ringworm* - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Gorgeous gal Goldie is around 4ish years old and being treated for suspected ringworm! She's a sweet but demure lady who's a new face at our clinic, and she'd sure love to recover from her status as a Fungal Friend in a home, as opposed to at the shelter! Goldie would love nothing more than to take a nap in a toasty sunbeam, or sitting in a window to watch the local daily street drama unfold!

This pet is currently being treated for ringworm, a mild fungal infection of the skin that usually clears up within 6-8 weeks of starting treatment. Ringworm care can actually be a breeze with the right set-up and if you have the time to dedicate to it, but it can be a bit tedious since it can spread easily to any living creature and requires some caution to prevent that. Unless the home has enough space to keep everyone fully and safely separated, we would love to find a home without any really young kids or other pets, just to limit the risk of exposure. All the follow-up care we provide for your ringworm pet is free of charge at our Grays Ferry clinic while they finish their treatment with you, and this cat's adoption fee is waived!
